Day of Driving

Just a great day of driving from Amarillo to Abilene. Not a dang thing to say about any music. Typical Sun-Wed I'm guessing. I did see both of these :)

P.S. Am I going crazy or is there some pretty good Contemporary Christian stuff on the radio? I've heard a few cool one's seeing as there's NOTHING else I can pick up sometimes. I just heard "By Your Side" by a group called "Tenth Avenue North". Worth checking out (in addition to the whole "Needtobreathe" CD!)

Good shots of the radiator underground. If you see a tree out that way, stop and take a picture.

Over 35 years in Nashville. I’ve been incredibly lucky. Over those years I set up the mic for Keith Whitley, Charley Pride, Rosanne Cash and others on quite a few recording sessions, had Waylon tell me stories, "Cowboy Jack" Clement told me a few, had Hall of Fame songwriters share many stories (and songs), been around both Garth’s quite a few times, gotten a Springsteen song “cut”, fortunate enough to sign a few of “hit” songwriters, Sold T-shirts, drove a van for Paslay, ran “Sound” for Jerry Reed, been an over-aged/undersized bouncer on Lower Broad (dumbassed idea)...on a less than stellar moment, put my d*^% on someone’s phone mouthpiece (back when they had those). It ain’t always been pretty or reflected well on my "character", but it’s been damn fun.
