Things I can't understand

Why people like camping
Why people like guns
Craig Wiseman's singing
How my left brain ate my right brain
Why people stay up WAY late at night to listen to music
How to use a GPS

These and a lot of other things I hope to begin to understand a little better over the next 3-4 months (except for Craig's singing, that just "is what it is" ;)).

I'm heading out Saturday morning and hedging my bets by stopping to see the freaking INCREDIBLE Anders Osborne play in Destin on my way to Texas (still sticking with Marfa at this point). Got (or make that bought) everything I can think of. Thanks to ALL my great friends and their well wishes. You never really know who gives a shit sometimes and I've felt that my friends and family really do give a shit. Hell, I even got a little choked up in my "spin" class this morning with sweet Jamie's (and the guys in the class) well wishes (and even got to pick the last song :)). Sincere thanks to everybody and the next time you'll be hearing from me will be from "the road" (and hopefully NOT from the side of it). Cheers and much love to you guys. S

P.S., don't come near me or I'll shoot your ass!

  5. Late at night the right song frees the spirit to wander to known and unknown places. So does the right beverage.
